CREATING THE PROGRAM
Our leadership team works together to ensure students and faculty receive the support and resources needed to fulfill our mission. Led by Dean Carol A. Romano, PhD, RN, BC, NEA, FAAN, FACMI, our unique leadership structure is comprised of three Associate and two Assistant Deans who each oversee a specific and critical component of the school. They each serve as direct, strategic advisors to the Dean and liaisons to the broader university community in their respective areas.
DEAN OF THE GRADUATE SCHOOL OF NURSING

The Dean oversees the entire GSN and ensures that students, faculty, and staff have what they need to accomplish their part of the GSN mission.
ASSOCIATE DEAN FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRSDiane Seibert, PhD, APRN, FAANP, FAAN The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs has direct responsibility for all academic programs in the GSN including improving the curriculum and ensuring it is aligned with military readiness priorities, coordinating clinical site availability for students, and putting in place clinical evaluation systems for accreditation purposes. |
ASSISTANT DEAN FOR STUDENT AFFAIRSJames Maiden, EdD, LPC, NCC The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs works with the Commandant team to foster student professional and educational development within the uniformed services and address military issues impacting GSN. |

ASSOCIATE DEAN FOR FACULTY AFFAIRSLynette Hamlin, PhD, RN, CNM, FACNM, FAAN The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs partners with faculty, academic programs, and administration to provide programs and resources to assist and promote faculty growth and develops and implements educational and administrative programs to meet unique faculty and academic needs. |

ASSISTANT DEAN FOR ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCEPatricia Kenney, MSN, Captain, U.S. Navy (Ret) The Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance manages the administrative operations of the School, including facilities, contracts and grants, budgetary and financial management, academic personnel and human resources and assists in administering the university’s disciplinary process for academic misconduct. |

Special Assistant to the Dean & Deputy Director, Griffith InstituteChristine Bader, PhD, RN, NEA-BC The Special Assistant to the Dean and Deputy Director of the Ronald H. GSN COMMANDANTCAPT Jerrol Wallace, DNP, MSN, CRNA, AANA, NC, USN The Graduate School of Nursing’s Commandant and the Commandant Team is responsible for fostering student professional and educational development and addressing military issues impacting GSN.
