Biography

MAJ Nikki R. Battle, DNP, FNP-BC is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She is originally from Georgia and joined the U.S. Army in 2002 as a direct commissioned 2LT after completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College Georgia (currently knowns as Augusta University. Upon entering into the Army, she worked as medical-surgical nurse for 18 months at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI, followed by attending the Critical Care Nursing Course in 2004. MAJ Battle has experience as a critical care and emergency room nursing prior to beginning her journey as a family nurse practitioner. She completed her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 2012 and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2016.
She is currently assigned to William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) in the Education Division as the USU Phase II Site Director and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing, Uniformed Sciences University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Prior to being assigned to WBAMC, MAJ Battle was Chief of Primary Care Service Line, Chief of a Family Practice Clinic, and full time Primary Care Manager at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

MAJ Battle has an amazing 4 year old son named Isaiah who is full of energy and extremely active. She loves to travel, shop, read and spend with family and friends.
