Biography
MAJ Ameera Brooks is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds national certifications through both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Certification Corporation (NCC). Her academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Florida Memorial University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from La Salle University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the prestigious Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.With over 16 years of distinguished service as a U.S. Army Officer, MAJ Brooks brings a wealth of clinical experience gathered through her work in Pediatric Intensive Care, Surgical Intensive Care, and Trauma Intensive Care. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she finds deep fulfillment in caring for patients across the lifespan. In her Women’s Health role as a Nurse
Practitioner, she is especially passionate about addressing a wide range of concerns including contraception, obstetrics, and menopause. Her philosophy of care is rooted in compassion—treating every patient with the same respect and empathy she would offer her own family.
A proud native of Camden, New Jersey, MAJ Brooks has been stationed across the country, with Fort Sam Houston, TX being her most cherished duty station. Outside of her clinical work, she is an avid international traveler who delights in exploring new cultures and creating unforgettable memories with her family.
